CHEMPURE - 136 Boiler water chemical treatment is a catalysed sodium sulfite designed to protect boiler and feedwater system from oxygen attack.It reacts rapidly with feedwater oxygen, even at lower tempratures, and can be used in conjunction with neutralizing amines to protect condensate system from oxygen attack. This can reduce iron levels in returning condensate and provide and increased level of protection from iron deposition in the boiler.

Dosage and Feeding

Specific dosage will vary depending on feedwater volume and the effectiveness of mechanical deaeration of the system.

CHEMPURE - 136 Boiler water chemical treatment should be fed to the storage section of the deaerator. If condensate protection is the primary objective, the product should be fed to the appropriate condensate receiver. The reqired boiler water residual will be a function of steam pressure and residual should be checked routinely.

Storage and Handling

The container should be kept closed when not in use. No special handling procedure and equipment is required. Store in a cool and dry place. Workers handling the product should avoid contact with clothing or skin and should wear rubber gloves and googles. Observe other precautions as usual.
